The Village Revitalization Committee is looking to improve the Village by incorporating public art into the community. They are seeking proposals from artists for benches - or functional art. Please see the brochure for more information.

The Village Revitalization Plan promotes improvements to streetscapes and there are many opportunities for members of the community to get involved. Two new committees will be spearheaded by the LDC:
Beautification and Arts in the Community.
Beautification will focus on streetscape - flowers, signage, banners, and holiday decor.
Arts in the Community will explore ways to showcase different forms of the arts and promote them wthin the community - public art displays, demonstrations, theatre and musical performances, and education.
The goal is to have both of these committees up and running by the end of April - please email vicldc@frontiernet.net with your interest.
